Teaching Age Range

Type of Job
– Please select – this is used to help Job Searches by candidates. If none of the job types accurately reflects the vacancy, then choose the closest and elaborate more specifically when you complete the “Vacancy Details”.

Subject(s): Major
- Please select the subject (or subjects) that will be the primary subject(s) taught. Only use “Any Subject” for management or other non-teaching jobs.

Subject: Secondary
– Please select – only include subjects that you require applicants to have. Include “nice to have” in “Vacancy details”.

Vacancy Details:
Please be as detailed as possible when filling in the box. If you have completed your School profile, then you only need to describe the vacancy since the details about your school are linked to the vacancy.

Start Date
: This is the start date of the vacancy. Please enter dd/mm/yy.

Close date:
This is the closing date for the advertisement. Please enter dd/mm/yy.

Specific questions.
When a school advertises a vacancy it can assist its own screening process by requiring that applicants answer specific questions or provide evaluative information. This might include
1 Specific questions designed to assist the short-listing process. For example – do you have experience in teaching Year 13 calculus?
2 Asking applicants to provide a narrative on a certain aspect of the work to assist in screening. For example – provide a summary of the key actions you would take to ensure good classroom management of a Year 10 class (in no more than 500 words)

Your vacancy will be posted immediately and you can undertake a candidate search. The Candidate Search link allows you to search for Profiles that match your vacancy details. As Profiles are added all the time it is worth revisiting the Candidate search to see if new Profiles are available.

If you are a new subscriber or your old registration has expired, you will be forwarded an invoice from Teacher Recruitment Services.
